In November of 2011, Powerwest were named as preferred contractor for the Supply of ALL Power for Mount Gibson Iron’s, Koolan Island Operations.
After the successful completion of contract negotiations, Powerwest will provide a BOO solution for the 2 main PowerStation’s on the island, and progressively upgrade all remote generators.
Powerwest will also introduce a full remote monitoring and control system for all Generators onsite, giving MGI unprecedented control over the entire island.
